Work submission

The works will be unpublished and will not have been previously published, neither be nor be subjected to evaluation in another journal, and they must meet the conditions of Good Academic Writing Practices. For submission of manuscripts or any consultation on their content use the journal e-mail address reec@educacioneditora.net

As REEC is an electronic journal, only works ready for publication will be accepted for revision, and that they follow our norms and orientations therefore (See instructions for authors of format and style).

Works must be submitted as non-compressed files in MS Word or OpenOffice format enclosed to an e-mail message in which it should figure:

1. The author's full name and the title of the work.

2. The author’s electronic mail address and their address.

After receiving a work we will send an e-mail message to acknowledge receipt.

Various types of work are supported: from research reports of qualitative, quantitative or mixed orientation to review work on existing research and new perspectives.

Guidance for publishing

It is recommended to use the REEC template.

The works, as a whole and in each of its parts, must necessarily be placed within the scope of current international research on the work subject.

Papers must conform to an structure of the type:

Title: concise and descriptive, and whose key ideas must correspond with the abstract and keywords.

Summary: Provides an overview of the work, highlighting the main findings and conclusions.

Keywords: those most frequently used in the international arena.

Introduction brief, with the background, the expected contribution and research objectives at the end.

Then, in the case that the language is not English, a version in this language of the title (Title), summary (Abstract) and keywords (Keywords).

Theoretical foundation, focus on previous research performed.

Methodology, with the detailed description of the context, subjects, and style, methods, evidence collect and analysis procedures of the research.

Results, where the research findings are presented.

Discussion, where the findings are placed in the context of previously research carried out.

Conclusions, indicating the main paper original contributions.

Implications, with the meaning of research and its limitations.

References, appropriate and updated to research carried out. The references should be placed in the scope of current international research on the subject of work.

Format and style, as follows journal formatting instructions, shows a good organization, it is easy to understand and well written.

They will be accepted in any of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Catalonian, Basque, Galician, French, Italian and English.

It is advisable for works not to be more than 25 pages in length.

Work revision process

The works submitted will be revised anonymously by two external referees. Works previously published either electronically or in paper will not be accepted.

Acceptance and publication

All accepted manuscripts will be published electronically four-monthly.

The journal allows the author (s) to keep the copyright and retain the publication rights without restrictions.

Each issue will be announced primarily over the REEC list-server.

There are no membership nor publication dues or any other types of fees for the REEC.

Educación Editora is responsible for that at least a backup of the journal, and access to content if it stopped publish.
